In this section I thought I would just offer an example of some other pieces of work I have done in the past. These will tend to be slightly older or smaller projects but still offer an example of the the standard of work and potentially an insight into how I have improved in recent times…
Ab Roller
Here we were tasked to produce an Ab Wheel, to try and fill a gap in the market for a stylish low cost product that appeals to the image conscious exercise market.
The York Fitness Ab Wheel was a new adaptation on the standard Ab Wheel as it offered a more aggressive yet stable exercise. The placement of the grips was much more strenuous on the abdominal and upper chest muscles.
EV charger
This project was about producing a sustainable EV Charger. The increase in electronic vehicles produces more demand yet some current options seem to stray away from the sustainable aspect required from them.
My solution was the ecoNEER EV charging station which has a compact form in order to maximise space and reduce materials; it is also designed for pallet use therefore reducing transportation costs; as well as being designed for disassembly to aid product longevity and recycling.
Phone Wallpapers
During the pandemic and a period of time where I was out of University due to an injury, I began to work on producing some phone wallpapers for myself and friends. I did this to try and keep my design juices flowing and in order to further improve my skills with digital sketching.
I would take a lot of inspiration from online accounts and then try to mimic and then put my own twist on them. Here are just a few examples of some of the images…
